Class of 2026 Master Irrigator is Underway!

We are thrilled that the Master Irrigator Class of 2026 is in full swing!

On February 18th, we kicked off Session I, followed by Session II on February 25th, with 25 producers in attendance this year. The Master Irrigator Program offers an in-depth irrigation management curriculum, encompassing 24 hours of intensive education spread across four one-day sessions. This program aims to equip producers with the knowledge to maximize advanced conservation irrigation management and implement effective practices that promote water savings, energy conservation, soil health, and enhanced farm profitability.

Looking ahead, Session III for the Class of 2026 is scheduled for March 4th, with Session IV following on March 11th. If you’re interested in attending a future Master Irrigator class, please reach out to Baylee Barnes at bbarnes@northplainsgcd.org to be added to the contact list for the 2027 class.
