INVITATION FOR SEALED BID

North Plains Groundwater Conservation District is soliciting bids for two vehicles.

Vehicle 2 (VIN 3GCUKREC6EG398319) – A WHITE AS-IS 2014, CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 DOUBLE CAB pickup with approximately 241,124 miles.

Vehicles are available for inspection at 603 E First Street on the west side of the building.

Specific vehicle questions may be submitted to Odell Ward via email  oward@northplainsgcd.org. He will answer any questions about the vehicle to the best of his ability.

All bids must be sealed and be delivered to the receptionist during normal business hours Monday – Friday 8AM-12PM and 1PM-5PM at 603 E. First Street, Dumas TX 79029 between Monday April 20, 2026, through Thursday April 30, 2026. Bids must be in a sealed envelope titled RED TRUCK or WHITE TRUCK and the form inside must be written in permanent ink the dollar amount you wish to bid, name, and telephone number to be accepted. Forms and envelopes are available at the front desk.

The bid process will close on Thursday April 30, 2026, at 5:00PM. If the bidder who wins is under the age of 18, a parent must be present to take possession of the vehicle. The bidder with the highest bid will be notified Friday May 1st before 5:00PM. The winning bidder must pay for the vehicle at the bid price they specified no later than Thursday May 7th with either Cash, Cashier’s Check or Money Order only. After that date, the vehicle will go to the next highest bid.
