2023 Tax Rate
North Plains GCD is funded primarily through ad valorem taxes. Historically, the District has chosen a rate below the voter approval rate. Consistent with the past, at the August 8th board meeting, the directors proposed a tax rate of $0.027966/$100. The proposed tax rate is lower than the voter approval rate, but higher than the no new revenue rate. A hearing to approve the proposed tax rate is set for 9:00 a.m. Tuesday September 12th at the North Plains Water Conservation Center, at 605 West County Road E. The public is welcome to attend.
